I was a digital butterfly before 13th of October and became a Digital Ambassador. Do you know who Digital butterfly is? At HLF we call DB to the students who get a desktop computer trough DB project. After getting laptop they become DA’s.
It was a very happy day for me. I was hopping for a laptop from so many years. For my fortune my hope became trough. My one of favorite hobby is blogging. I write stories about my studies, news, add articles about new discoveries and etc to my blog. Many people are visiting it. I think my blog is interesting in the internet. Dr. Leuthold is a kind person who gives helping hand to the people who need helps. He donated a laptop to a clever student at HLF. For my fortune he has visited my blog. Having seeing it he liked to give a help for me too. His help for me was a brand new Acer laptop computer. It was the happiest day of my life. It has 80 GB. Hard disk and 1 GB RAM. It is very useful for me to do my work. Now I’m developing a website for Laksaviya Foundation with the help of this laptop. I like to thank Dr. Leuthold for his kind help. I hope to do the maximum work with laptop. With this laptop I became a DA. Being a DA is very easy to do work.

14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.

The new Opera version (9.5) has impressed in speed in an early test version. They compared it to the old version, IE and Firefox using Java. Firefox and IE scored both pretty bad compared to the old version. Firefox loaded in 1213ms while IE loaded in 1240 which was the worst result in the test. The old version of Opera (9.23) made 546ms and the 9.5 version at a blistering 281ms. That’s 5 times faster than the competition.

Sept 12, Colombo: Sri Lanka cancelled the tsunami alert issued few hours ago soon after Indonesia’s meteorological agency cancelled its tsunami warning issued after a massive 8.2 scale earthquake hit the west coast of Indonesia’s Sumatra island.
An official at the Sri Lanka Disaster Management Centre said the warning was lifted as there is no threat anymore to the island.
Earlier the Center warned the residents of the north, east, south and southwestern coastal areas to leave to safer grounds.

A 8.2 magnitude earthquake has blasted in the Southern Sumathra, triggering a tsunami alert.
According to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Human Rights the magnitude has developed in to 8.2 and the Ministry has requested the citizens in North, East, South-West and South to be cautious since there is a possibility of generating tsunami in the Indian Ocean.
The Weather Department also requested the citizen to clear from the shores in the areas mentioned above, thus, issuing a tsunami warning.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre issued a tsunami alert for the entire Indian Ocean region following the latest quake.
A massive undersea earthquake sparked a tsunami that killed many in Sri Lanka in December 2004.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) — A strong earthquake measuring 7.9 in magnitude struck Wednesday near southern Indonesia, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
A tsunami watch was immediately issued for the area.
The earthquake struck at 1810 local time (1110 GMT) Bengkulu province.
Several skyscrapers in Jakarta were rocked by the quake, which came at the end of the work day, said Andy Saputra, CNN producer in Jakarta.
“It’s pretty strong and people are being evacuated from the tall buildings,” he said.
The Financial Times’ John Aglionby, speaking from Jakarta, told CNN: “The windows started shaking, the chairs started shaking - everything was shaking. We were up on the 16th floor of the building and decided we had to get out.
“It was a very bizarre experience. Some people were getting scared.”
Jakarta is 605 km (375 miles) southeast of the epicenter. The epicenter believed to be Bengkulu Province in southern Sumatra.
Although some employees were too afraid to leave their offices, companies ordered immediate emergency evacuations, he said.
Workers exited structures via fire stairs and went into the street, away from buildings and other potential dangers, Saputra added.
